Cabaret ZaZou - Luminaire
Chicago is a premiere location in the world to visit. You have
The Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, Art Institute of Chicago, outstanding theater performances, with future tourist ventures like the Chicago Obama Foundation and Bally's $1.7B Casino; however, there's a hidden gem tucked away in the Chicago downtown area. A place with an international cast of high-flying cirque performers, musicians, and interactive comedy, called Cabaret ZaZou. In Chicago's Theatre District is a stylish, Chicago-inspired décor hotel called The Cambria Hotel.
The magic of this hotel begins on the 14th floor, where Cabaret ZaZou presents its newest venue, Luminaire. With a soulful jazz band playing as you enter the Spiegeltent ZaZou, the Cabaret-style dining allows each party to enjoy the performers — and with the table set with your aperitif, and a five-star menu, Luminaire is an exhilarating way to end a memorable evening.
Nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award for 'Comedy Performance of the Year,' Frank Vincent Ferrante (Forte) hosts this enchanting evening. Performing a comedic bellhop, Forte prepares the dining participants for over two hours of an awe-inspiring night of singing and acrobatic theater — where even the audience members get into the fun on stage.
Luminaire international groups of performances featured multi-talented James Harkness, master juggler Viktor Kee, contortionist Ulzii Mergen, aerialist Cornelius Atkinson, Tsis Clegg-Vinell, and Nathan Price. The leading performer was the former queen Cleopatra in Teatro ZinZanni, the incredible Liv Warfield.
Luminaire combines the thrill and excitement of Cirque du Soleil and the improv of a comedy club with an elegant nightclub-style atmosphere. However, the night's euphoria is when they bring a random guest into the stage for a hilarious improvisation.
Luminaire is directed by Dreya Weber. Weber's aerial design and choreography have been featured in Magic Mike Live and aerial choreographic performances for superstar Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Madonna, Cher, Michael Jackson, and Christina Aguilera.
The show is at its early stage, and some adjustments in acts and songs will inevitably occur, but it's a nightly hoot with electrifying entertainment.
Shocker alert! Be aware! A $10 per person Hospitality Fee is added to your bill. This charge goes towards the meal service and is split between their hard-working bar and waitstaff.
Let's Play, 'Highly Recommends, Luminaire, at the Cambria Hotel. The fresh new variety show is in hopes of inspiring your wildest dreams. Based on World War II and the ideas of oddities, it is a way to escape the outside world.
